Membership Agreement
Liability Waiver & Terms of Use
This Membership Agreement, Liability Waiver, and Terms of Use ('Agreement') governs the use of Seattle Pickleball Club facilities and services. By purchasing a membership, entering the facility, or participating in any activity at SPC, the Member agrees to all terms outlined below.
Membership
- Membership is personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable
- Daily operating hours: 5:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- SPC reserves the right to modify terms with advance notice
- Members must comply with all posted rules and regulations
Payment Terms
- All fees are due at the time of registration
- Annual and month-to-month membership options available
- Accounts 15+ days past due may be suspended
- $100 reinstatement fee applies to lapsed memberships
Court Reservations
- Bookings made through the club reservation system
- Up to 14 days in advance based on membership level
- Cancellations required at least 8 hours before start time
- No-show fees may apply
Guest Policy
- Members may bring guests per club policy
- Members must register guests and pay guest fees
- Members are responsible for guest conduct and safety

Acknowledgment of Risk
Pickleball-Specific Risks
- Being struck by ball or paddle
- Collisions with players
- Slips and falls
- Muscle and joint injuries
Assumption of Risk
Participation involves inherent risks including physical injury, permanent disability, illness, or death, and members voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
Release of Liability, Covenant Not to Sue & Indemnification
1. Release of Liability
The Member hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Seattle Pickleball Club (SPC), its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, landlords, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the Member or any property belonging to the Member, whether caused by the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, while participating in any activity at or related to SPC facilities, to the fullest extent permitted by Washington State law.
2. Covenant Not to Sue
The Member agrees that they will not make any claim against, or seek to recover from, the Released Parties for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in activities at SPC facilities. The Member further agrees not to bring any lawsuit, legal action, or other proceeding against the Released Parties for any such claim, and acknowledges that this covenant is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by Washington State law.
3. Indemnification
The Member agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or resulting from (a) the Member's own actions or omissions while using SPC facilities, (b) the actions or omissions of any guest brought by the Member to SPC facilities, or (c) the Member's violation of any SPC policies, rules, or regulations. This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of the Member's membership.
