Liability Waiver & Terms of Use

This Membership Agreement, Liability Waiver, and Terms of Use ('Agreement') governs the use of Seattle Pickleball Club facilities and services. By purchasing a membership, entering the facility, or participating in any activity at SPC, the Member agrees to all terms outlined below.

Membership

  • Membership is personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable
  • Daily operating hours: 5:00 AM – 11:00 PM
  • SPC reserves the right to modify terms with advance notice
  • Members must comply with all posted rules and regulations

Payment Terms

  • All fees are due at the time of registration
  • Annual and month-to-month membership options available
  • Accounts 15+ days past due may be suspended
  • $100 reinstatement fee applies to lapsed memberships

Court Reservations

  • Bookings made through the club reservation system
  • Up to 14 days in advance based on membership level
  • Cancellations required at least 8 hours before start time
  • No-show fees may apply

Guest Policy

  • Members may bring guests per club policy
  • Members must register guests and pay guest fees
  • Members are responsible for guest conduct and safety

Member Conduct

The following are grounds for termination without refund:

  • Unsafe play that endangers other members
  • Harassment or abusive behavior
  • Vandalism or property damage
  • Misuse of facility or equipment
  • Violation of club policies

Unattended Facility

Please be aware of the following regarding facility supervision:

  • Staff may not be present during all hours
  • Members must call emergency services directly if needed
  • Members must call emergency services directly
  • No supervision is provided

Facility Access & Security

To maintain security for all members, please observe these access rules:

  • Do not share door codes or credentials
  • Do not allow unauthorized entry
  • Report lost credentials immediately
  • Members may be financially responsible for misuse

Acknowledgment of Risk

Pickleball-Specific Risks

  • Being struck by ball or paddle
  • Collisions with players
  • Slips and falls
  • Muscle and joint injuries

Assumption of Risk

Participation involves inherent risks including physical injury, permanent disability, illness, or death, and members voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

Additional Facility Policies

SPC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property in lockers, courts, parking areas, or bags. Members are encouraged to secure their belongings and avoid leaving valuables unattended.
Common areas may be recorded for security purposes. No cameras are installed in restrooms or changing areas. By entering the facility, you consent to video surveillance in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Members must follow Washington state law regarding alcohol consumption. Alcohol may not be sold or distributed by members. Intoxicated play is strictly prohibited. SPC assumes no liability for alcohol-related incidents.
SPC may use member likeness in marketing materials, social media, and promotional content unless written notice is provided to opt out. Please contact us if you wish to decline participation.
SPC collects name, contact information, and payment details for membership management purposes only. We do not share your information with third parties except as required by law or to process payments.
